Get on with it

I’ve been taking in back-to-back interviews of Seth Godin, who’s posted once a day to his blog forever—under the premise that practice makes perfect. It is time for me to get to it, or “Get on with it” as Laura Try would say, whenever she felt herself procrastinating in prep for the six weeks she spent rowing across the Atlantic. Yes, rowing.

A few key takeaways from Seth’s talks:
Marketing is about making a change in the world. What’s most important is to be clear about WHO this change is for (what is the minimum viable audience), but also, WHAT FOR—what difference are you trying to make in the world of your customer?

I’ve been looking for that kind of truth. Thanks Seth for stating it so succinctly and eloquently.
